  • A tablespoon of vanilla essence
  • 16 cherries for garnish

Step by step of the cupcakes of Maraschino Cherries

  • We precalentemos the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
  • Extend in a bowl, put the 150 grams of butter or margarine together with the 150 grams of sugar and using an electric mixer, mix until the sugar is dissolved in the mixture.
  • Add one to three eggs, stirring constantly.
  • At this point, add the 200 grams of flour for pastry, previously sieved.
  • Finally, Add the pieces of cherry and with a paddle, stir the mixture.
  • Prepare pan for baking cupcakes with the cup of the stock and add the mixture to the half, so that they grow much during baking.
  • We have been in the oven for 30 minutes or until the toothpick is inserted to the cupcakes, comes out clean.
  • While cupcakes are baking, we will be preparing the syrup. Add the sugar and water in a small saucepan and bring fire to your boiling.
  • Finally, Add the juice of Maraschino and hope that the syrup has a thick consistency.
  • Once out of the oven, just click on the cupcakes with a toothpick or fork to make small holes through which the syrup is added.
  • To finish our delicious cupcakes, are going to decorate with a cream cheese frosting.
  • This icing is easy to make, simply place all the ingredients in a bowl and mix until you obtain a homogeneous and stable cream. If you want to give color, add a drop of dye artificial gel.
  • With the ready cheese frosting, proceed to decorate our cupcakes from Cherry Maraschino with help of a pastry sleeve.

Additional Tip:

We can cover the cherries to decorate our cupcakes with tempered chocolate to have a result even more finished in decoration and more enhance the flavor of our dessert. If you decide to make this tip we recommend using chocolate.
