Surely you ever open a bag of muffins you have encountered with some crushed or desmigajada. Or even the last cupcakes of the bag have been hard and there who eat them. Do not throw them! You can take advantage of these remains to make caramel cupcakes, which fixes you a dessert and is also great.

Option 1: caramel cupcakes

Ingredients:

  • 5 or 6 muffins
  • 1 l milk
  • 6 eggs
  • 4 tablespoons of sugar
  • Liquid caramel

  • Crumble coarsely and sprinkle with sugar cupcakes.
  • Gradually add the liter of milk and stir well until cupcakes are very soaked.
  • Beat the eggs until foamy and add them to the previous mixture.
  • Caramelize an ovenproof mold. This pot candy can be used or do it home.
  • To make homemade liquid candy, put two tablespoons of sugar and 4 water into pan and place it over the fire (not pasted, about 10 cm, fasten it with some gloves if the mould is made of metal) by moving the mold to make the caramel evenly. Wait until the sugar melts completely and remove from heat.
  • Pour the milk into the mold on the candy mixture and cover it with aluminum foil.
  • Find a font suitable for oven where to fit the mold. Insert and fill the fountain with water.
  • Bake as well (a water bath) to 170 - 180 ° C with heat from above and below for an hour approximately (or until Pierce with a toothpick, comes out clean).

Option 2: Flan with cupcakes

Ingredients:

  • 8 cupcakes
  • Maria cookies
  • Candy
  • Vodka caramel
  • 1 litre of milk
  • 2 envelopes prepared flan
  • Sugar
  • Coconut for garnish

Procedure:

  • Put the candy in the bottom of the pan. It can be purchased or made home. To see how the home candy, see previous recipe.
  • In a separate bowl, chop cupcakes and mix them with caramel vodka.
  • Add Maria biscuits cut into small pieces. Mix well and set aside.
  • Separately, dissolve flan envelopes in the liter of milk, according to the instructions of the product.
  • When the pudding is done, add it to the mix of cupcakes and cookies.
  • Pour it all in the mould where it was candy and cool for two hours in the fridge.
  • Remove from the Tin it and decorate with coconut (or chocolate).

Option 3: cupcakes and nut pudding

Ingredients:

  • 1 envelope 130 g flan
  • Liquid caramel
  • 1 litre of milk
  • 200 g crushed walnuts
  • 12 cupcakes

Procedure:

  • Prepare the flan following the instructions of the product.
  • Introduce cupcakes chopped in the previous preparation and sink them so that they are well soaked.
  • Add half of the crushed walnuts and mix everything.
  • Cover the bottom of a pan of flan with liquid candy.
  • Pour the mixture over the candy and let cool in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours.
  • Unmold before serving.
