The word "Cantonese" comes from a Chinese region called Guangdong (Canton in Spanish). This region is the cradle and reference in Chinese cuisine, highlighting exquisite and delicious dishes, which have crossed borders and are known and enjoyed by countries of the whole world.
Cantonese duck, Cantonese chicken ... or the Cantonese rice, are delights that millions of people have been tested. In Spain, this rice to the Cantonese dish, can you enjoyed it in a restaurant chino, but surely you don't know yourself at home, you can do it since it is very easy and fast. Do you feel like?

The traditional Cantonese rice

Ingredients:                

  • 1 small package of frozen peas or a medium Tin of cooked peas
  • 1 egg
  • Several slices of cooked ham
  • Long rice or thai (half a glass per each person)
  • Salt
  • Sunflower oil
  • Water

In a saucepan, pour a little oil and add half a glass of long rice for each diner. Add a pinch of salt and stir until all rice is impregnated with oil.   • Salt
  • Sunflower oil
  • Water
