
This recipe will show you how to make the authentic Swedish meatballs with sauce. It is a dish that is very easy to prepare, since no strange ingredients or special skills are not required.
In Sweden, usually meatballs with sauce eaten with potatoes or mash and sauce tomato or cucumber in vinegar or cranberry canned as a condiment. They are often served with a brown sauce made in the Pan (when the meatballs have been completed), with a lot of cream, butter and a bit of soy sauce.
Ingredients

To prepare meatballs for 5-6 people, you need:
- 900 grams of minced meat (beef, pork, chicken, whatever you want)
- Two eggs
- An onion
- 3 dl of milk
- 1/4 dl of dry bread crumbs
- 1 tablespoon salt (rasa)
- Around 1 teaspoon ground pepper .
For the sauce
- Pepper
- Garlic
- Tomato
- Onion
- Tomato sauce
- Red wine
Preparation:

- Soak the breadcrumbs, take a large bowl, pour milk and remove with the egg, bread crumbs or breadcrumbs, salt and pepper.
- Leave to soak for 5 minutes by which bread crumbs will be absorbing liquids.
- Chop the onion into very small pieces.
- Add the onion to the mixture of ground beef and mix well with a large spoon.
- Do not use an electric mixer to do this, since it can become viscous and strange if it is removed too.
- It's time to use your hands!. Make balls with the meatballs with the size you want.
- It is not so difficult to do, unless your mixture is too wet.
- Fry them, in Sweden, they used margarine for frying meatballs, but you can do it also in vegetable oil , so it is more healthy.
- Fill half of the skillet with meatballs and fry them on one side, roll slightly with a spatula. After a while, you can turn them so they FRY on all sides.
- When they are dark brown, remove them and put them in a bowl, is necessary to keep them warm until mealtime.
Make the sauce
Take a few tablespoons of oil you used to fry the meatballs, hot frying some garlic, tomato, onion and bell pepper strips. When they are golden veggies, add a splash of red wine, tomato sauce and a little water.Leave to cook over very low heat and, when they are cooked vegetables and the sauce has thickened a little, add meatballs and cook another two minutes.

Note
Leftovers can be used to make a sandwich with meatballs "kottbullemacka". Take a piece of bread, butter and put cold meatballs halved in it. Add thin slices of cucumber in vinegar (gherkins) and some mustard. Here not throw anything!
